Last year I participated in an MFA program at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and studied printmaking and painting. Having my own studio, along with printmaking facilities and workshops, made conditions favorbale for exploring new modes of expression. I particularly enjoyed working with intaglio and silkscreen printmaking methods.
Prior to moving to New York, I lived in Seattle for eight years pursuing a career in music (my music project is called The Soft Hills). I’ve written and produced several albums, touring throughout Europe and the US. In addition, I designed the album artwork and concert posters, projected visual images for live performances, and made several music videos. After pursuing music for several years, I find myself shifting my focus from music to visual art. I participated in a handful of student shows in Brooklyn last year. I’m currently showing art at Co-Lab Gallery in Los Angeles.
